Funk Syndicate to open for Stevie Wonder at Starlight Theatre on June 26

Leawood, KS – Funk Syndicate, Kansas City’s premier R&B, dance & party band, has been selected as an opening act for the upcoming Steve Wonder concert on June 26 at Starlight Theatre.

This is a debut for Funk Syndicate at Starlight. Funk Syndicate will be located at the Helzberg Diamonds VIP Club and will start its show at 6:45PM. 

This is the first time Stevie Wonder, with 22 Grammys and 30 Top 10 hits to his credit, has performed in Kansas City since the 1980s when he played at Kemper Arena. He will open on Starlight’s main stage at 8:00PM.

The Starlight concert VIP experience offers the best seats in the house; free reserved parking; private entrance to the venue; access to the VIP Club, which includes private bar, catered buffet, flat screen TVs with limited simulcast, indoor and outdoor seating, and private restrooms; and free ticket concierge service for other Starlight and Live Nation events.
