Funk Syndciate welcomes Bob McCurdy!Funk Syndicate is happy to welcome Bob McCurdy on trumpet and flugelhorn. Kevin Hupe is leaving the group to spend more time with his family and we would like to wish him well and thank him for his fine playing over the last few years! Bob began his professional career at 16 playing with big bands and other groups in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and performed in Madison, Milwaukee, and Chicago in jazz, rock, classical, and studio situations. Artists McCurdy performed with included The Temptations, Natalie Cole, Bob Hope, Tony Orlando, The Platters, Joan Rivers, Red Skelton, Bob Newhart, Steve Allen, Johnny Cash, Tom Wopat , Richard Davis, Jimmy and Jeanie Cheatham, Steve Houghton, and many others.
