Angie has been
singing as far back as she can remember. She loves all types
of music, especially when it has a story to tell. Some of the influences she's had
musically are Marvin Gaye, Bobby Gentry, Al Green, Aretha Franklin and Gus
Hardin. She started singing professionally in 1990. She had the opportunity to
sing backup for Delbert McClinton in 1991, placed second to Shania Twain
in the Marlboro Talent Competition in 1992. Angie has shared the stage with
various country artists such as Travis Tritt, Aaron Tippin and Shanendoah,
among others. She's traveled in a blues band called "Night Flight" for two
years
and has performed extensively in the Tulsa Nightclub scene. Performing is her
love, her heart and soul. When she's on stage, it's her HIGH... her drug of choice you might say! She is very fortunate to have experienced the great
support and friendships that all of you have blessed her with.
